A few days ago I got into my shop TARISAI TARA EVENTS AND IMAGE CONSULTANCY and discovered that my printer which has faithfully served me for the last few months was pretty much dead. That would not have been a major “biggie” were I not in the middle of doing a major project for a very dear client of mine…and I most definitely needed the printer to be in perfect working order as my client needed her 300 wedding invites delivered in less than 48 hours.
I was distraught.
I cried and eventually calmed down long enough to make a PLAN B. 48 hours later I delivered the invites all done and picture perfect.
NOTE TO READER: MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, THINGS WILL GO WRONG ESPECIALLY IN BUSINESS, AND WHEN THEY DO. YES, GET MAD, PANIC, FRET, CRY…BUT THEN GET OVER IT AND GET TO WORK.
WHEN LIFE HANDS YOU GRAPE FRUITS, GO GET SOME SUGAR.
A LITTLE INSPIRATION
There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head. “Well,” she said, “I think I’ll braid my hair today.” So she did and she had a wonderful day.
The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head. “H-M-M, ” she said, “I think I’ll part my hair down the middle today.” So she did and she had a grand day.
The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head. “Well,” she said, “Today I’m going to wear my hair in a pony tail.” So she did and she had a fun, fun day.
The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn’t a single hair on her head….
“YEAH!” she exclaimed, “I don’t have to fix my hair today!”
Why cry over going “bald” when you can rejoice about never having to fix your hair ever again. Whatever your drama, be it in business or its personal, look on the bright side. It’s ok to be sad for a while but after you are all done mopping, GET OVER IT AND GET TO WORK.
TILL NEXT TIME…
